HID Install Question

So I just ordered a 5000k hid kit from ddm to replace my halogens. I know the easiest way to install them will be to take off the front tires and go through the wheel well. I was just wondering what the best way to re-tighten the wheels properly will be when I put them back on. The manual says they should be torqued to 83 lbs. Should I buy a torque wrench? Just hand tighten? Thanks a lot.

I hand tightened and have had no issues, drove to cali and back and its great. You might want to consider just taking the front bumper down too, guys on the forum go one way or the other because it takes the same amount of time, but personally i go for the front bumper just for ease of access and its not tight

You really don't need to take the front wheels off. There is ample room if
you loosen the front bumper and fender skirt. Here's a fairly detailed writeup:

I'd buy a torque wrench. It's a great investment and comes in handy quite a bit it you work on the car yourself.

I use a Harbor Freight one and it's great. Extremely affordable too.

Thank you for your responses! I installed them through the wheel well over the weekend and they look great.
