Headlight Modifications
Headlight Modifications
Hey everyone, recently purchased myself a 2010 Maxima SV. Looking to modify the headlights. Heres the list of things I'm planning on doing to them
- Angle Eyes (Highs and Lows)
- Demon Eyes (on the Lows)
- LED Strip along the bottom
- More? Suggestions welcome
Now I have found some good places to purchase all the things I need to make this happen. However, the biggest issue I am running into right now is the dimensions I need. I dont want to take apart the housing until I have the parts to put everything in.
Anyone know what the dimensions are around the Low beams and High Beams for the Angle Eyes?
As well, I want a wireless remote to control some of these things to be able to turn them on and off. Anyone know of any good ones I can get and install myself? My major thing is I don't want to break through the firewall. So anything I can install without having to run into the cabin is what I am looking for

The halo size is 70mm around the low beam.
For the high beam, if you don't retrofit a projector in there, a 90mm will fill the space nicely. If you decide to retrofit a projector in there, you could use a 70mm halo as well.
Also just search eBay for a two channel LED remote on ebay. Should be able to find one for $20. Basically you just wire both halos to one channel and your demon eyes to the other channel. This is assuming you are only using one color for your demon eyes. If you are using RGB demon eyes, usually they already come with a remote so you will just need to wire them up under the hood.
