How much are OEM 18"s worth?
I have a second set of 18" rims from my 2012 Maxima. They have some discolorization and curb rash. They are light silver How much would they be worth?
I was thinking about using them to send in to one of those companies that offers a wheel exchange. I was looking at getting the chrome ones for my car at $800.00 What do you guys think of the chrome version? Anyone have any pics with the chrome wheel they can post?

As far as trading them in I wouldn't know but I would look at the classified section to get some ideas as I have seen some OEM wheels on there recently. The trade part depends on if you are getting refurbed wheels that have been redone with the finish you want or new. Like the propane exchange, you don't know how full they are and you can tell the cans are old sometimes by the paint job.
As far as the tabs, goo gone and elbow grease is how I've gotten these off in the past. You have to be careful not to use something too abrasive or harsh as the clear can come off...then again if you're trading them they probably don't care since they will refinish them and sell them anyway. Good luck.

A second set of rims could be useful if you track or live in a seasonal spot where you could use winter tires. Also as winter tires they could be your winter rims so your chrome is not exposed to salt etc. You could trade those in on your new set of rims you want or have them powdered or painted for a completely different look to the car. Otherwise, they will take up room in your garage or basement! It's a good problem to have.
