racingline front ypipe feedback

Considering ordering this for the spring. Wondering on people feedback... the positives? Negitives? Anyone throw any codes after install? Was there a significant feel in deference? Any feedback is helpful thank you!

I'm still trying to decide if it's really doing anything for me. I do notice acceleration is much better at certain intervals (0-40, 60-80). Sound is a little deeper but not much louder than stock. MPGs still steady, at about 18-19mpg. No codes thrown.

That fuel mileage is just horrible. I NEVER see less than 24.5mpg. With 90% highway driving, I see 26-27. I've had the y-pipe on my 2010 SV for about 60,000 miles. It's been good. Can't really testify to sound, because I got a cat-back exhaust at the same time. I can most definitely say that the high rpm performance is better. You can look at the y-pipe and tell that it will flow much better.

Either way - definitely worthwhile. There are times when it kind of shocks me how fast it will accelerate. I don't remember ever thinking "WOW" before the y-pipe. I do frequently afterward.

For dollars per horsepower, it's definitely the most cost-effect mod you can do on these engines.

Recommended.

If you search, I made a thread comparing it to stock. It should answer all your questions.
IMO, this and a rear sway bar are the two best improvements to the car you can make.
It is a definite 10-15 wheel horse power increase. There is no other mod that can do that, especially for the relatively low cost.

Spoke to a sales rep at Motordyne engineering about an exhaust system for the 7th gen. Apparently they're working on increasing sale volumes to lower price? He told me to call back on Monday and I should be able to obtain more info or possibly buy? Anyone get a hold of these folks? I was thinking of doing the RL Y pipe but now idk! Lol
