Viper 5706V
Viper 5706V
I had the Viper 5706V with Remote Start installed in my 2013 Nissan Maxima SV Premium yesterday. Several observations to share with you all ....
-Audio Express in Green Park, Mo did the install. Their willingness to answer my questions about the equipment and the installation technique was done in a confident and knowledgeable manner. This served to assuage my fears about this invasive project.
-The equipment has not interfered with any of the functions of the vehicle. The device does override some of the features of the vehicle. This is only because I've had it set to lock the doors automatically. I keep my Intellikey in my pocket and I am used to it from my previous vehicle.
-The remote start works as expected. I like the feature that I can shut the engine off during the remote start. My lights do turn off as they should after shutting down the engine with the remote.
I know there was another thread about this subject elsewhere but I took the liberty to add a new thread.
As a new owner, this forum has given me a lot to consider in regards to owning a Maxima.
You have no choice but to appreciate a 7th Generation Maxima....
