Anyone having problems with heated seats?
Hello, i have 2011 max sv, my driver heated seat dosent go on high anymore just low setting seems to work, ive only had the car a few days, is that an easy fix or i should bring into the dealership?
It's not an easy fix unless you know how to remove a seat from the car. You need to go to the dealer, let us know how it turns out.

strange enough, the high worked tonight, maybe its because this morning it was -35 with wind chill. Could have been some condensation that froze and made the connection impossible. ill keep an eye on it for sure.
Do you have the heated/cooled driver seat with 3 heat settings and 3 cool settings? If not then it could just be a bad switch.
If you have the heated/cooled seat. If the seat bottom and seat back do not heat evenly the seat will shut off. The seats are designed to operate that way. This is more likely to happen when it is very cold. Once you have warmer weather the problem will probably go away.

Sounds from the description he has just the standard heated seats. The fact that it works fine in low eliminates the heating elements from the equation. I'm not sure if the driver and passenger switch harness are the same. If they are, you could swap the switches and see if the issue still exists, or moves to the passenger seat. If it moves, then it's the switch.
