I bought a oem spoiler but it came with no tape to cushion between the spoiler and the trunk lid. I am going to drill and bolt the spoiler in so can I get some suggestions on one sided tape to use. Thank you.

3M double sided automotive tape. Any reputable parts store will carry it. It's what the factory uses on a lot of parts too and what I've used when installing stillen rear diffuser front splitter and the trunk lid spoiler. In addition to screws too of course.
