Bumper Paint Peeling

Anybody else experience bumper paint peeling on their 7th gen Maximas? I took mine to carwash today and noticed front bumper paint peeling off in large pieces when water hit the area. I have only ever washed the car by hand at self serve car washes. I purchased car new in October and it now has 6000 miles on it. Car was transferred from out of state and purchasing dealer filled in front license plate holes as they are not required in Michigan. Guess car will be going back in to shop yet again.

Here is pic of the carnage, please let me know if anyone else has experienced this or has any suggestions on how to avoid it in the future.

I had this occur about a year after a repair from a suicidal racoon. Turns out the body shop and Pittsburg paint had just switched to latex paint. They stood behind their work, repainted the bumper and no further recurrence.
