New stereo

Has anyone put an aftermarket stero in there 2011 maxima? I have ghe standard 2011 all stocked and want to put in a new stereo. What is the best deck to get? And will i have all my heating and air functions i mean how will this work with the screen up top and the player down below? Please help

If your talking about the orange screen up top, the audio and hvac display are both separate. So when you take out the radio controls below for an aftermarket unit you won't lose the hvac display, but you will lose the audio display. Also for brand, that's really your choice. I like pioneer myself, but I opted to keep the Oem stereo, because I don't want to lose the factory look and bluetooth phone calls. That's another thing you'll lose is the bluetooth phone calls since its part of the factory radio
