Another guy with BC Coilovers

I finally got around to installing my set of BC Coilovers that I bought from BBMaxi. The car is in getting an alignment now. One thing I noticed is you can feel everything in the road now. The car is considerably more firm compared to the stock SV-Premium suspension. Right now I have the fronts set to 18 clicks from full soft, and 15 clicks from full soft on the rear. There is roughly a 1 finger gap all around.

Ride looks nice man! If you plan on keeping your rims, adding some H&R spacers will bring it all together.

Is it just me or can I see the difference from your front to back in height?

Why the difference in clicks for the coils? And why not have the front sit lower instead?

The rear wheel arch I think is a little lower than the front. However the car has settled and the rear is too low for my liking. I plan to raise it some this weekend. I might raise the front slightly too.

So this afternoon I did some tweaking. I raised the rear about a good 1/2", and the front about 1/4". I have roughly a 1 finger gap all the way around now.

Also I felt my front pre-load was wrong. So I reset that using the following method:

1. Loosen lower spring perch lock ring and move it out of the way.
2. Loosen the lower spring perch ring until the spring can move slightly up and down by hand.
3. Tighten the spring perch by hand until snug. Do not torque by hand.
4. Tighten the lock ring and butt it up against the spring perch.
5. Tighten spring perch with large spanner until you have 4mm gap between the spring perch and lock ring. It's the exact thickness of the small spanner. It should fit in that gap snuggly.
6. Tighten the lock ring down and torque down.

The reset has made a world of difference in how the front of the car rides. It's very easy to give too much pre-load.

I was going to ask what size spacers you would suggest, but I noticed you had 20mm-25mm in your mod list. Did you have to roll your fenders? Experiencing any rubbing?

I don't have any rubbing, & the fenders were not rolled.
