Anyone ever swap clusters?
Someone told me Nissan doesn't program and if they need to know the info is in the ECU, based on some quick calculations of numbers, like a counter that counts how many rotations a tire has done in its life time.
I did it on my 5th gen too, with lights and all, was going to change my SMT led colors -- but if I screw it up just exploring options heh.

You can send your cluster to a repair shop and they can program your new one with the correct mileage. My friend had this done at a shop in Houston, TX years ago and I'm sure there are places that still offer this service.
