I just bought a 2013 Maxima S i forgot to ask what type of gas it uses but on the website it says premium unleaded which is high. is regular unleaded fine to use? i have seen other car owners use regular instead of premium

Use Premium as Nissan has recommended. If you can't afford an extra $3 per tank, well maybe you bought the wrong car.

I didn't buy the wrong car so don't be rude i wanted to know which is the right gas to use because i have seen people not use the recommended gas and use regular with no issues and where i am its not $3 just several cents more so i just want to know which is better to use

Premium only.
The ones that cheap out will pay for it in loss of mpg and performance and increase the risk of knock IMO.

Nissan went ahead and recommended to use premium gas for absolutely no reason at all.......

So you trust the salesman over Nissan and the owner's manual. Makes total sense.

I always use premium prefer sunoco or shell. Both make all 3 of my cars run extremely well, always have. They sell a quality product. The extra couple bucks a tank is worth it in the long run IMO.

I know some have used lower grade gas, but I just use what Nissan recommended. I've done that with all my Maximas.

Before you ask your next question, read the owner's manual please....

I think we're done here.
