Strange happening
Strange happening
At 67K miles on the 2012 Maxima the check engine soon message showed up. I let it go for a week thinking I'd bring it to the local independent shop to read the fault and then fix it.
Lo and behold, the message went away this morning.
I'll still bring it in to see if they can read any stored codes and go from there.
Anybody else have this strange happening.???
Thx.

Crazy had the same issue this past weekend. Thought it was my gas cap after reading the service manual but realized it wasn't. Went to Autozone and had them read the error for me for me and learned it was due to my O2 sensor. Seemed that some debris got sucked up in there at some point. Quick fix though, all I needed to do was take off the intake and cleaned O2 sensor(with the appropriate cleaner) and it she was good to go. Hope your light is for the same simple fix 😀
