New Brakes and Rotors - Strut Spring broken

Okay I am the most indecisive person ever. I don't know much about car parts etc. I just know that I love my Maxima and she needs new brakes and rotors. I have been looking on Rockauto at the Centric PowerStop drilled and slotted rotors as well as their brakes. I will post the links below. If these are a good choice let me know. If not, recommend something?

Also, off topic. My drivers side spring and strut bearing (I think that's what he called it) broke at 80k miles. Is this normal? The local mechanic that discovered it said that I should be persistent that Nissan replace both sides as my tires will wear with only one side being replaced. However the Nissan service tech says that my Gold Warranty will only pay for the broken one as the other is in good shape. Opinions?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah replace in pairs. It will drive unevenly with one new spring and bearing. Might as well inspect all 4 springs and replace all the dampers at this point at 80K miles.

Are you saying your actual spring broke?
It is fine to replace just one strut bearing.
