Hi to all. I'm new to this forum and am looking for a little advice and some guidance. Working on my daughter's 09 Maxima. It has a bad alternator and I'm in process of replacing it. My first with a Nissan. Bought the maintenance manual for the vehicle. Read up on it, though the pictures in the manual looks nothing like her year maxima. Here is my question. I've removed and disconnected everything the manual calls for, except I can seem to figure out how to remove the radiator. The manual doesn't call for removing the engine fan shroud housing, just the engine fan assy. But with the shroud housing behind the radiator and the a/c coils in front (not to mention the hood latch and front grill crossbar on top), how can the radiator be removed? My guess is the shroud must be removed. Any advice will be appreciated.

 

Should be straight forward but it is similar to this
