R1 Concepts ELINE Cross Drilled/Slotted Rotors, thoughts?

The 09 Maxima I just bought doesn't quite need new brakes, but you can feel the rotors are starting to show signs of being warped. So I figured, lets just get some nice new rotors and pads up front

So I found these....

and the seem pretty decent - total $311 after coupon shipped to the house.

Any thoughts on these?

Or do you recommend a front/rear cross drilled/slotted rotor set - that wont brake the bank? (get it....haha)

Thanks!

I would suggest you do a Google search and read up if drilled and slotted rotors are what you really need, you might change your mind.

Well, took your advice, looked it up - of course, just like anything on the internet, I found equal information for them, and equal against. Whats your personal opinion?

Hey man,

Here is my real world opinion based on having R1 rotors on 4 cars over the last 6 years.

I usually buy slotted just because I hate drilling any rotor and I think slotted rotors look cooler than blanks to me. In reality, no one drives the max or any DD vehicle hard enough to warrant a drilled rotor. The slotted ones I have had were great, lasted a long time and had no rust or warping whatsoever on them. I only bought the drilled/slotted ones because at the time the wait for slotted would have been a few days longer and I was pressed to get my akebono calipers on the car. I have been riding those rotors for a year with no issue and no rust/warping.
