For those who have had tranny issues

My car has been making a whine sound at cold morning starts and especially when turning left it whines. The sound is like a dry power steering pump but its full. Could this be the tranny?

Today it whined even after warming up so it getting worse.

Ideas?

I had my cvt replaced as it too would whine and ended up failing on me. Turning never made a difference in my case. You may want to look for another cause. How are your belts?

Belts are good. Its definitely accessory or CVT related.

I've got a '12 with 47k and did the dealer drain/fill but still get the whine noise when I use the shift paddles and hold a lower "gear" in the higher RPM range. I'm talking over 3,500 to 4,500. Fingers crossed the allstate warranty covers this!
