I recently purchased a 2012 Maxima, low mileage, just love this car.
It's actually my third one, I had a 1999 SE and 2001 SE as well.

I noticed that at 80 mph with the sunroof open there is an abnormal amount of wind turbulence in the car, to the point that the rear view mirror shakes like crazy and I can barely keep my ballcap on.

Anyone else noticed this?

ADD: I should add that the 1999 and 2001 didn't have this issue.

You might be asking for too much.... sunroof open at 80pmh?... Your 99 and 01 had a different body different airflow so the drag isn't the same. If there is an issue it should be obvious by looking at the structure of the car. Take pictures at a flat angle and analyze it.

Maybe looking for a simpler answer of "yes" or "no"... :-)

I had a '09 SV and had the same problem. I installed a sunroof wind deflector and it made a world of difference. Never went to 80 but at 60 you could have normal conversation in the car without any problem. They may not look the best but they work great, either fashion or function.

Yeah....i think I've posted about this in the past. Its the diffuser that vibrates in the wind. I've been thinking about trying to make a little stiffener for it to keep it from vibrating, but never got around to it.

The wind deflector would definitely help.
