Exclamation Instrument Cluster Problem/advice

I purchased my 2010 used maxima about 6 months ago, It had a rebuilt title and the only damage was some front end damage that was replaced. Aside from that the car was completely fine. However cosmetically there has always been this one thing that has bothered me and i want to fix it but dont exactly know what it is and how to do it. There are some weird marks/bubbles on the backside of the screen that protects the instrument cluster and i have no idea how to fix it or what it is. I also have no idea how to access the inside of the screen and if so is this something i can do on my own or should i take it to a shop? PLEASE HELP.

I would fix that air bag light problem first as its more important for you and your passengers.....the screen looks like it has a bad tint job lol, not sure why tho.

They are really easy to replace. I would find one on Ebay and replace it yourself. I believe you can even replace it with a 2013-2014 White version. You can follow the directions I have in my signature to remove the pieces needed. Put some air in your tires while you are at it.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I went on ebay to look at instrument clusters and I am going to end up buying one. But if the mileage on the used instrument cluster does not match the actual mileage on my car is that illegal? Or is there something that I have to do to change it?

There are little clips all around the plastic. Can probably just take it apart and clean it really well:

It does look like it's just a really crappy tint job on it.. why someone did that in the first place is beyond me. But like others said just buy the lens and swap that instead of wasting money on an entire cluster.

Thanks alot for your advice guys, So today i went out and bought a de greaser and sprayed the lens. All of a sudden when the plastic was wet/soaked all the marks disappeared and it was as if it never existed. But the moment it dried all the spots came back. So now i know that the crap is actually on the outside instead of on the backside but now im even more confused. Why do the marks go away when it is wet and come back when the surface is dry?

This seems like a clear indication of chemical etching. Whoever was the previous owner must have used a caustic chemical to clean the dash and it melted/etched the clear plastic lens in the process. Why it melted just the clear lens and not the surrounding area.....beats me. It disappears when wet in the same way the headlights will turn really clear during the wetsanding process of restoration. I'm not a chemist but the water is basically filling in the imperfections and causes them to look clear. You could try a microfiber towel and some plastix X and see if you can buff out the spots.
