09 Maxima trunk won’t open!!!
The trunk on my 09 Maxima won’t open from the inside, with the remote and when I try to open it from the outside, all I hear is 4 beeps (tried to post a video, but couldn’t). valet switch is on!
I’m able to access the trunk and open it using the latch as shown in the pictures, but I wanna fix it!
Any idea what’s going on?! Thanks

Had this issue twice with my '10
First time it was the BCM (body control module) repaired under warranty.
Second time the wiring for the trunk was broken. Its located by the trunk hinge on the drivers side encased in black wire cover.

Same issue for me (Broken Wire). 2009 Maxima. I have a picture in my post.
