Oil Burning Again?

Anyone else noticed this?

11 max w 130k miles and oil change every 4K miles using 5x30 Castrol synthetic blend since day one.

Noticed about a half quart under from the drain and pour back into jug.

Hhhhhmmmmmm. Your 2 cents please.

Topic says “again” as I had the 05 and the oil burning was horrendous once I hit 150k miles

Is that counting the oil from the filter too? If yes you will never get all the oil of the filter. Your vehicle has 130k on it so a little oil consumption would be expected. Any small drips? I wouldn't worry to much about a half quart loss is 4K, just monitor it. If the next drain and fill shows more consumption then the last a problem could be developing.

i Kind of figured that’s the case.
My 05 burnt a quart every 2500 miles after I hit 170k. Didn’t know if Nissan remedied this issue for this generation.

The filter oil also included

Lucas maybe a use in next change.

Half a quart every 4000 above 130k isn't horrible. Sure it would be nice not to burn anything, but considering it's 7 years old, you're putting well over 18000 on it a year, (average) seems to me you're doing Ok if all else seems to be holding up.
