'14 Navigation - how to stop auto start?

Just acquired a '14 Maxima. How do you stop the navigation from automatically starting each time the car is turned on? Only have driven it a few times but each time (except the first time) it starts immediately routing me "home" which at first was the previous owners house until we finally got that switched to our home.

Weird as when we drove it home from the dealer the map came up but it wasn't routing anywhere. Since then it goes right into routing. Can't find anything in the manual or online. Please help.

You've got to navigate through your settings menu and disable that feature.

Be patient navigate through the settings and make it stop lol. You will be fine, you might need an update and that costs I am against it since most smartphones do the trick anyway. I was hot to buy a max, so I purchased one with Navi it was useless.
Promise you I turned off the settings I could think of and I am cruising.

Somehow we got it turned off. Not a fan of all the tech stuff so far. This car has the Premium and Tech packages. The turn down mirrors are also annoying me. In a tight parking situation, almost took the mirror off an SUV as the mirror view did not show it.

You can disable this feature simply by placing the mirror selector switch in the "middle" position, instead of leaving it on either L or R.
