What to look for this 2013?

Hello,
I have seen a 2013 locally with 105k miles. Dealer wants $7600 for it. I did not see it or test drive it yet. I did not pull carfax for it yet either. I have been using my 5th gen 2002 manual for the last 8 years and going strong. Wife had a 2003 the was totaled in an ancient . We need another Maxima.

Apart from the obvious things, checking body for rust, corrosion, paint, hood for obvious leaks, damages, signs of repair, interior for any malfunction, driving for stability, engine power and ride quality.

Anything for test or watch for me when I see the car? what do you think?

Thanks guys

First things I would want to see is a detailed Carfax and the maintenance records. With mileage this high suspension parts, brakes, wheel bearings and other things are nearing an age where replacements will need to be done. Without the maintenance records you only have two good choices. Pay a professional mechanic to inspect the car, or pass on it. Remember all the storms of last year where millions of cars were flooded? A lot of them got cleaned up and are being sold in different parts of the country. You don't want one of these. Good Luck

Thank you sir.
Being sold at a backyard dealer, I doubt he'll have service records for it, though I did not ask. Dealer claims no Carfax avalavail to him. Still debating buying a report for 39.99 or just forget about it.

Looks like the dealer already knows what the Carfax is reporting and its probably bad news. If you are still interested 39.99 is cheap insurance. I was also thinking the price is pretty low for only a 5 year old car.

Is 7600 (after negotiation) low for a 105k miles Maxima 2013 S?
Carfax shows 2 owners, lease (or rental car) used in NY and 1 accident involving right side(does not specify major or minor) Does not show junk, salvage or rebuilt title. Accident was 2015.
I guess suspension and rust can be a challenge for this one being driven in NY?

I supose its not to low for the (S), though I would be concerned and I personally would pass on this deal because of accident and possible rental. There are a lot of used Maximas out there without all the history.
