Does tire rotation throw TPMS system off?
Changed my oil at Nissan today, bringing my Amsoil 5w30 and Mobile 1 filter (my buddy shop was busy), beside I was thinking to do tire rotation and was thinking only dealer can switch ECU TPMA IDs around in BCM.
Advisor surprised me that ECU doesn't care where each sensor is located at. It'll continue to communicate with them ok without light in dash. She said it'll only mess readings shown on dash (my 2011 doesn't have show each tire pressure as in 2012 to 2014). Otherwise you rotate tires as you please.
Is that true?

I've been rotating my tires twice a year for over 10 years now. Never any issue with the TPS when rotating. I do have a winter set of tires/wheels and when I put those on for a few snowy months I live with the TPS warning light on. At least it doesn't blink and there's no warning chimes.
