2013 max remote start not working. It worked all winter long. The panic alarm goes off after it tries to start. Can anyone help

 

Do you have the OEM version or aftermarket? There is a number of things that the car has to meet for the remote start to work. Doors locked, windows rolled up, sunroof closed, enough fuel, hood latched, and depending on the model of car there could be more or less. With the panic alarm going off there is probably a security issue being flagged. If OEM check your owners manual for any proceedures that have to be met before it works.

 

Oem and all the above has been done.

 

I/m just guessing here as I don't have the remote start in my 09 but is there a settings feature in your information center that you can reset the remote start, or reset up its features, like checking a box to make it work?

 

Did any 7th gen ever came with factory installed remote start?
