Clicking when shifting

So here it is i had a both cv joints go bad one two years ago, the other last week. My problem or better yet my question is that I have a clicking noise when I shift the car into drive after it sits for a while. I am stressed out about it, in all seriousness I am a retired veteran on a fixed income and this car is starting to turn into a money pit should if anyone has a suggestion and no jokes please could you please help me out?

The car is lowered on eibach springs and a year ago the all the bushings were changed under warranty. If this helps anyone please help me out thanks in advance.

It might be the brake pads? if so, nothing to scare you.

Did it immediately start happening after the Second CV joint repair? If so, start by going back to them and express concern with the part they put on. Could be a bad part and under their limited warranty. If not, they may be able to tell you what is making the noise.
