Unhappy Limp mode?

This is what the dumb mechanic did to my car when all I said was it sounded weird and the power steering was leaking a little and he left it like this

Once engine was reassembled back
My Maxima had its motor mounts put in recently and after that my car Saturday started sounding like almost like a rocket very much more deep engine and exhaust and my brakes would make the car vibrate when having my foot on them. So I took it to another play which I wish I never did it was close to my house and the quote mechanic took my top of engine part off with my gaskets and try to diagnosed why my power steering was leaking all of a sudden and my car sounded like it did and I didn't even ask him to take my engine part off. the first idiot put water into my coolant and just recently I had all my fluids changed and fixed because I just purchased this car and spent a lot of money on having the correct Nissan fluids in the transmission included. The place that told me that my mounts and my struts and so far were out so I started getting parts that I've ordered new online and I started with the mounts that's where I had them put in and ever since then nothing has been the same now after having it at the last place I had to tow my car out of there because the man would not put my Nissan back together after 3 days and I had no clue what he had done truly I never even asked him to take off the top of my engine and I was looking online about scams on the DMV website and I figured that's what it was going on after 3 days of having my vehicle and nothing been done and it won't put it back together and I'm devastated because it's been such an ordeal and so much money and finally I had a good friend that is a good mechanic Master mechanic put my engine back together and the car was running normal and it was okay then tonight I go back to start it up and it turns on completely and now when I go to put it in reverse it shuts off no idea why this is all happening I have a 140000 thousand miles on my car I bought it at 123000the car was running fine up until these mounts and everything I've done I'm really hoping that my car is okay we're going to do an OBD on it. Please if anybody knows anything let me know I'm so confused

Wow, what a cluster! So much has happened for some relatively small fixes. I assume since your Master Mechanic friend got most everything put back lets start about the "shut off.: Only in reverse or in drive too? With everything being "disconnected" and your mileage, I am thinking Alternator first (or rather something voltage related as our 7th gens require nice, filtered and rectified voltages. Anything under 12vdc and who knows what will happen.

The Second issue about the noise and the shaking pedal may be wheel bearings (or transaxle but with the noise you mention, leaning more to the wheel bearing.)

And lastly, the leaking power steering doesn't require the entire engine to be disassembled (although patience is required) Replace the pump (once again, diagnosing without seeing the car)

Best of luck and please keep us informed on what the issues really turn out to be.

Thank you yeah it's been miserable I don't know why my engine was disassembled I'm hoping my friend put it back together correctly the car was running for a few rides from the night before and yesterday afternoon and then decided not to work later on tonight he's telling me it might be the speed sensor. I'm not sure about the voltage though but since all the main sensors were pretty much disconnected there's got to be something I got a bunch of problem codes off the OBD but one code could be there only because the other code is there which all leads into maybe possibly only one what sucks the most is that none of this ever happened in the car was running great all before I do the mounts and the disassembling of my poor engine almost 1000$ in stuff done and nothing is fixed if anything just made worse

The car won't even go into drive it dies on reverse and everything very low rpms I guess it's called limp mode or safety something

Limp mode is there to get you off the highway and to a nearby station. It doesn't shut down the car!. It will make it so you can't go very fast at all though and is very disconcerting. But shutting off. Still leaning to the alternator/Battery/connector as you have no speed just shifting into gear! If you get a wild hair, go ahead and post your codes. There are a lot of wise folks on this site (as well as wise acres but they usually save most of the vitriol for those who claim knowledge they don't have: Like the mechanic who put a hammer in your engine bay!)
