nissan maxima vibrating

Hello,

I have nissan maxima 2011. I don't know why but my car when i cross speed of 80 starts vibrating from left tire even the steering wheel also. some time at 100 it works fine but usually from 80-100 it starts vibrating from left tire with steering what could be the possible reason where as i have only 3 bolts on my left tire.

thank you

Driving upwards of triple digits with 3 lugs on a wheel?

His triple digit speed is a lot slower than ours, Km vs miles per hour, but driving with only three lugs is pretty dangerous, especially if the missing lugs are on one side of the wheel. This slight missing weight might be the source of the vibration.

I wouldn't push a car with 3 lug on, let alone drive it no matter what speed, he needs 5 lug nuts torqued to spec per wheel.

It could possibly be that your tires need to balance or your rim could be bent,. Have you hit a curb lately?

sounds like your tires may need balancing.

Does OP mean wheel has 3 lug nuts on or he means he has 3 punctures (3 nails or bolts patched or unpatched) in his tire?

If you don't have the time to get two more lug nuts on one wheel then remove one from another wheel and put it on the one with three. I would feel safer with two wheels with four than one with three. If the studs are broken or damaged then park it until you can fix it.
