Exclamation Question for Megan Racing Cat-Back Owners

To all of the 7th GEN veterans out there could you please help clarify a question I have before tomorrow morning? I have an appointment to have my Megan racing cat back exhaust installed tomorrow but my question is; should I leave my factory catalytic converter & resonator?

i’m looking for the low growl Sound but I don’t like how loud as loud it is when the mufflers and resonator‘s are both deleted

would anybody have any experience or knowledge if the sound will be significantly louder or not if I replace the catalytic converter with a test pipe when installing the Megan racing cat back exhaust?

any help with this would be greatly appreciate it....

thank you All....

Test pipe = Y pipe on this gen max (look up gemini Y pipe). No worries. If you use the silencers on the mufflers you should be ok.
