Shock and Strut Replacement

Ive searched the forum and cannot find any good info on what I thought was a common topic. I believe coil overs is the way to go when shocks/struts are bad but I would like to learn more about them and how the installation happens. Are there any good threads on this that someone can link me to?

The installation process is the reverse of the removal process. And since you'll only be doing one side at a time, you even have a guide with the untouched side of how the first finished side should look when it's done. Pretty neat, huh?

I believe most coilovers if not all are adjustable. I haven't done it but I heard to install them, first remove one of the originals. Hopefully it's still in okay condition (mine are usually blown up). Use the original to set the coilover so that they are the same length top to bottom before install. Then adjust to hella low while all four are on. Gives you a solid basepoint I guess. Been eyeing a couple sets all over.
