Boom! Here to report a CVT failure

Another Cvt failure miles 97k yay!!!!!!

My first cvt only made it 67k before going boom! Approaching 153 now with no problems! Is yours covered by the 10 year 120k warranty ? Mines a 2010

I bought the car with a lifetime warranty on the engine and transmission. Mine is a 2014 the down time for the part to come in is the ****ty part lol.

Regular fluid changes? Was it driven hard?

Fluid was changed at 60k. And if your driving a Nissan Maxima hard you deserve to have it break lol. But no nothing out of the ordinary as far as driving. There were no codes or warning lights. Dealer said it had internal codes. Reason I brought it in was a whining noise.

If the only symptom was whining try a fluid change first...pretty common for these to whine on old fluid.
