Bluetooth via USB port?

So my 2012 SV is Bluetooth equipped but it can be spotty. Sometimes it will randomly skip like a scratched CD and it annoys me that you can't pause and play freely using the steering wheel controls (pause and play show up as 2 separate buttons, and you can't toggle horizontally with the steering wheel).

So I typically use the USB port in the center console made for iPods and it works great with my iPhone. Zero connection issues, I can access playlists and podcasts on my phone (and pause and play) from the infotainment screen/steering wheel, and even album art shows up on the screen. The only issue is the port doesn't seem to charge my phone at all. Maybe it's only purpose is to transfer data.

So my question is, does anyone know of a Bluetooth transmitter that can plug into the USB port on the car and recieve music data from my phone so I can charge my phone from the cigarette lighter? Basically I'm trying to keep the USB port music functions, but connect via Bluetooth instead of the cable so I can charge my phone with the cable instead. Hope that makes sense.
Connecting as soon as the car turns on would be a plus.
