Need to replace Rack & Pinion
My Maxima 2011 SV Tech 170K milage
Recently looking at replacing my rack & pinon and right CV axle . I have been holding off replacing for a while now, On Rock auto they have the Cardone remanufactured unit and Hitachi brand new. Has anyone had to replace their steering rack and bought the Hitachi steering rack brand, I know whatever I buy is going to require the Electronic Variable Orifice (EVO) Component for speed assist steering. I see the EVO module being mentioned for the Cardone remanufactured part but not on the Hitachi new replacement rack. I thought I read somewhere Hitachi was unofficial OEM for some of Nissan parts.
