2009 Nissan Maxima 146 K miles.

Need your help guys!

I have ran check engine light code: P0507 Idle Air Control System
RPM Higher Than Expected

I have changed spark plugs and cleaned throttle body ( with carbon throttle cleaner of course ) I know they can be several reasons why vehicle is hesitating. Any ideas where I should start checking?

Car hesitates after take off and at low speeds and NOT at high speeds.

It is also triggering code P0430 if it helps...
P0430: Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold

 

Consider replacing the Catyl and O2 sensor, plus clean the Mass Air Flow Sensor.

I found Both on eBay.

The good news is the P0430 is the Cat by the radiator and is easier to service.

 

I replaced both Catyl and O2 sensors for a little over $1k, partsgeek.

installed (both) for $500….
