Bird like Chirping Inside the Cabin
Bird like Chirping Inside the Cabin
I have a 2012 Nissan Maxima. The car has had a loud whining noise but because of the: Harmonic Balancer, Tensioner, Serpentine Belt all being old. That noise has been gone. I have a new noise that sounds like a light bird chirping noise on the passenger front side. Almost like it's in the dash. But it's only when the car is on an uneven road where the suspension is being used. If I drive at 20mph it doesn't sound only if on an uneven road and the car has room to vibrate. It's not when cold starting, it's not when accelerating, it's not when idling. I have no clue what it is. I have swapped out the axle from a cut boot and clicking noise. Those noises have gone away. I have also even replaced the control arm from excessive wear and fixed my heavy steering wheel shake. The breaks are all good and work properly so it can't be that. This noise was there before the others as well. But since the others have been fixed this is the only noise to remain. It's a little irritating when driving with no music bc it's so light that you focus on. You can hear it outside the car as well, by the tire. All repairs have been done to the side the chirping is coming from; however, this noise was there before the other repairs had to take place.
could it be Stabalizer links ? Sway bar ?

I have a similar noise but I think mines is tied the AC blower fan behind the glovebox. I'm not sure but I can manipulate it by the changing fan speed. I know this didn't answer your question but maybe it's related somehow.
Good idea re the blower fan. Of course it could be the strut bearing and bushing, the strut itself, or even the brakes (even braking straight and even doesn't mean the anti rattle springs and/or coating of brake grease on the back of the pads is perfect.) Of course could be a motor mount (the torque mount is on the passenger side by the strut mount). If you have a recording, it may help one of us hone in on the issue.
