Video Review (MotoMan)

At the end he admits want he really wanted - an 8-speed automatic.
Not gonna happen, and 95+% of drivers will be better served by the CVT, lighter and more fuel efficient.
From the link below: "Enthusiasts who drive everyday sedans are eventually going to need to embrace CVTs because of their ability to improve fuel economy. The Maxima manages 22 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. With those kinds of numbers, CVTs are here to stay."

The new sonar sensors are better than the old ones, and cover a wider field. But most of the 'sensing work' of this 2016 Maxima is done by radar antennas hidden in both sides of the rear bumper, hidden in the bottom of the Nissan logo shield in front, by the rear view camera, and by cameras all around the car.
I am glad to see bumpers that don't have an array of sonar detectors across the width of the car. They are not attractive.
