Why in the hell did you pay sticker for your car? I'm very impressed with the $300 sales tax though. But still, sticker?!?!

It's just how the buyer's order was drawn up. Again, if you think my '12 Maxima was worth $23k, with 60k on it, then yes, I paid sticker. When in reality, they gave me $16k for it and then added the price reduction to the trade.

Oh, my apologies. Still in a way does screw you a tad. The 7k difference still gets your for the taxes. But that definitely sounds a lot better than sticker lol.

Max tax is $300 in SC so whether it's a $5000 car, or $100000 car, it's still $300.

I agree. I'm pissed with the less options on the SR, no power tilt steering, ecetera. I have a 2014 power sport with everything that I'm reluctant to give up because of that. Not paying out the butt at all, I can wait hell maybe I'll change to an infinity.

$20

$462/month (tax included) (first month down). They are paying off the remainder of my 3502 in lease payments.

SL MSRP 38125 - sale price to me $36124 (which is bascially invoice)

I called and talked to sales guy who told me about some Tax Axe program they are having this week where they do something with vehicle tax but I wasn't sure what he was saying. I also asked him for a 35537 sale price.

He is going to ask sales manager about my request for $420 to $430/month for the SL.

No. I did send a private message asking which dealer if he didn't mind but he hasn't responded, of course this was sent a while back roughly 2 months ago. Before I purchased mine. Doesn't seem like he's all too active on the forums though.

$20

He said North Jersey so it could be Ramsey or Butler, or Bergenfield...or none of those. Would you believe Im sitting on a $439/month offer (first month down) including my 3500 in lease payoff, havent pulled trigger. Why can't I just sign and be done?

Because you know it's a lot for an SL, and you know you should wait a few more months.

Thanks. They called the car that hit car because they priced it extremely low compared to every other car on the internet in a particular amount radius. So other people will see the price of this car advertise very low and then they get to the dealership and that car is now gone they are already at the dealership and all the other cars are priced the same as the cars at all the other dealers therefore they're more likely to stay there and just get a car there and go somewhere else and pay the same exact price. Because I didn't opt out for another color that I wanted more than for the black I ended up saving three grand versus all the other cars.

Hello all,

This is Mohammed from Saudi Arabia.
I found this forum for Maxima and would like to share the prices here is Saudi.

I chose the S model and it is sold here for around $28,700 plus doc fees and registration fees.

the whole calculation for 60 months is as follows;
%10 down payment = %2870

after the bank calculated the total it went to = around $34863 ( this include bank benefits and car insurance - full coverage for 5 years-)

I asked for the lower monthly fees as possible;

ended up with around $450/ month
and a final payment of around $8586 ( to be paid at the end of the contract ).

Doc fee is by the low not to exceed %1 of the total price after the down payment with was ( around $260 )

The prices were converted from Saudi Riyal to US dollar, so it's not %100 accurate.

Thanks you guys

Seems that they handle leases very differently. First insurance is not calculated in any lease number. That's a separate bill we take care of on our own. What is the final bill at the end of the lease of 8500? Is that your buyout or is that literally your final bill at the end of the lease? Either way for a 5 year lease, payments seem very much up there. Again different compared to here in the US, but those seem very very high for lease numbers. That's more of a financing figure especially considering your final bill.

Yes it's much different her in Saudi than in the US and Canada. I lived in Canada for 3 years and I know these stuff.

The 8500 is the final bill then I will own the car. It's around %25 of the total price after bank benefits and the insurance.

I know that you guys in US and Canada have to pay for the insurance for the financed car but here the financed car to be insured by the bank for the whole lease period.

I did a quick calculation for the total for the 5 years and it will be around $39K this includes ( down payment, monthly fees, final bill to own the car insurance and the doc fees ).

Thanks

Is your final goal to own the vehicle at the end? I don't see how leases exist in Saudi if their figures resembles a financing plus you're paying majority of the vehicle

Yes, I'm planning to own the car at the end.

The final bill is optional, I could've financed it without the final bill but this will increase the monthly payment by around $145 which will be around $600/ month for 60 months. But I wanted the monthly payment as low as possible and this is why I'll paying around %25 at the end.

Just wanted to say Hi. I am new to the board and just purchased a new 2016 black Nissan Maxima SR Midnight Edition and I love it. The sticker was a little over $40k but I got the price down to a little over $33k. I was lucky to get $3k for my trade (which was on its last leg) and put another $6k down. I could not be happier with this car.

I purchased my Platinum about 4 weeks ago now. Sticker was 42K and got it down to 35,870+ TT&L I traded in my 2010 Honda Fit with that Takata airbag recall. After it was all said and done I ended up with 32K out the door

33k pretax is the best I've seen on an SR so far, especially a Midnight. I paid 34k for a stock SR without even a spoiler. Which region are you in?

Yeah Mine had all the bells and whistles on it I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area. I was almost going to buy a Lexus IS350 F but one of my buddies suggested I take a look at the new Maximas. I was skeptical but I went and had a look see. Bought the car right then and there after some negotiating of course! hahaha It helps that I'm an 838 beacon

What dealer did you go to? I'm in Houston and considering looking out of the city for the best deal.

Right now I'm negotiating a lease on the S Model. Have it down to $350/month (all tax/fee/etc included), no money down, 36 months.

Need to negotiate the trade-in value of my 2013 Altima to get me out of my car loan and should be good to go, but I want to make sure I've covered all of my options.

JBrown - Get a quote from Omar @ Gillman Nissan Fort Bend, he gave me a great deal on my SR, over a thousand below what any other dealer in the city was willing to do. PM me if interested and I'll give you his contact info. I'm not sure how good they are on leases, but it's worth a text or phone call.

Should be lower for a S model. You should be able to get an SL for approx $385 incl tax, no $ down.

Hey new member here. I purchased my SR on April 1st. I paid 33k for the car with the extra lightning package, tire/rim appearance package with a 120k warranty. I had a few hiccups when I first took possession of the car; first the driver seat harness was not correctly attached at the dealer which required the dealer to remove the driver seat to correct. The second issue was the drivers door rubbed/scrapped the door jam when it was being opened and shut Both of these items were care for, and have has no other issues yet.

I do have one question I have not been able to find an answer to.. On the tire pressure monitoring screen; what do the numbers in the center of the car represent? Mine says 33, I am assuming this is the PSI the tires should at?
