Trade-in Value Advice

Guys,

I'm going to the dealership tomorrow and want to know what you guys think a fair trade-in value for my current 2009 Maxima SV is (it has roughly 46K miles on it, few little paint nicks here and there but not dings/damage to body work, and never been in an accident). See attached window sticker.

On KBB it's being valued somewhere between $15k-$17k depending on misc. variables (private sale vs trade-in, condition, etc.).

Just the other day at the dealer I was offered 15k for my 2010 maxima s with 38k miles, which is a good offer but I was trying to get more. I think if the dealer wants to play ball you should not have an issue getting between 15k-18k. They'll try and low ball as much as they can, so have a certain number in mind before walking in there

I was told also if my car was an sv they'd give me 17k all day

I would aim for 17K, no lower than 16K, going off of your description of your current car.

I have a 2009 SV Sport with 30,000 miles. Wonder if I can get 17-18k towards a new one?
