Fooling around

The day after I added my new badges a Chevy Camaro SS who was accelerating to slow got butt hurt when I tried to pass him and decided to race me. FYI he didn't prevail.

That was not a SS. That looked like a V6 Camero which the Maxima would beat. The V8 would leave you in the dust if it was a SS. Morons also like to put on SS badging even though it is a V6. I believe this was the case if you seen SS badging. Nonetheless. How humbling it must feel to get burned by a family hauler when driving a Camero. Embarrassing. Yeah I just made the video full screen and see the fake SS badging. That was not a real SS.

Why cover your rear licence plate? You obviously didn't cover your front plate JTJ0831 . Besides, every time you drive your car people can see it.

I wanted to share with the group that I had no luck receiving any replies from Racingline. I wanted to purchase their endlinks for my 2016 maxima. I was able to find a universal kit very similar to that of Racingline. I had to make sure the universal kit was applicable to the 2016 Maxima by measuring the length of the OEM endlinks and the diameter of the studs. For the front endlinks, the measurement is 11.77" with a stud diameter of 12mm. For the rear endlinks, the length is 2.95" with a stud diameter of 10mm. I then went to Whiteline's website. These links are similar to those of Racingline. I cross check their endlinks sizes and was able to find a match. The part number for the fronts are KLC 180-295 Suggested Retail price of +/- $136. Part number for the rears is KLC-140-060, same price. I am going to order these along with Godspeed Mono Coilovers. I already have the Stillen RSB and just purchased the Curva C7 Silver wheels (19 x 8.5 with a 35mm offset for front and rear on 255/40/19 tires. Will later post pictures of the setup.

This is the same brand that’s sells the one I bought from eBay advancetuning and ikonsports listed this same one splitter lip with same pics n price on eBay, and it’s pretty much the same as Stillens but I didn’t pay that much, it was like $129, got in like almost 4 months ago. Not sure why they are $100 more now from your link, Stillen wants too much for there’s tho

Heard the fitment on those cheaper ones is horrible.

A couple of aftermarket things

20x8.5" Lexani wheels, carbon fiber roof wing, painted tail lights.
LED H11 bulb to replace factory bulb
Painted headlights and fog lights. I'm still waiting on my stillen front lip and side skirts to come in. Only thing I'll be missing cosmetically that I want is the diffuser and the trunk spoiler.

I installed Nokya Hyper Yellow halogen H16 bulbs in my fog lamps yesterday.

Funny though, its not as deep of yellow as I'd hoped. I put PIAA bulbs in my 2015 Rogue fogs and they were a nice DEEP yellow...

And I have Hella bulbs in my Sienna and they are a deeper yellow too.

The yellow of these Nokya bulbs is more 'golden' yellow than anything... But its still yellow and better than stock.

Stillen axle back exhaust
Stillen cold air intake
All exterior lights upgraded to LED

My most expensive mod - the damn headlights.... Worth it though.

Installed starry eye halos, switchback drl from diode dynamics, smoked all the lenses. Only expensive because first set of headlights melted 🤣.

View from the operating table

Here are some mods I did to my 2016 Nissan Maxima SR: lowered 1.4" in front and rear with Eibach lowering springs, replaced stock rims with black concave rims (no manufacturer name), 35% tint (what is legal in MD), AVS window wind deflectors and cold air intake from K&N, sounds great from inside the car. Daytime at home
In parking garage

Has anyone tried the akebono brake kit from z1 motorsports? I got 20" Ultra Platinum Smooth Trip wheels and Continental extreme contact tires (getting rubbing while turning). I am trying to figure out if the BBK will fit with these wheels. Also, any recommendations for rim protectors?

Rear springs adjusted & front lip/rear diffuser installed

Whats up all?!
Just wanted to post pics of w/ & w/out front lip & rear diffuser. I was gonna wrap em in carbon fiber but ended up getting them painted. If any ppl close to St Louis like how they came out, I took them to Maaco in Kirkwood. $400 for both. The body shop my local stealership uses, quoted me $625 so I'm happy w/ how they turned out.
Also attaching a pic of how much I had to cut off my rear lowering springs to sit even w/ the front. I didnt want to but this was my 2nd set from Eibach & got the same result as the first, both sets sat the rear about 3/4" higher then the front. I found some info online that if you do it correctly & have the right springs(which pro-kit is-Tangential) then it allows you to get the height where you want it. Initially, I took off half of the distance you want to lower, so in my case I needed it to come down 3/4" so I took off 3/8" but it made no difference so I took off another 3/8" & voila, it now sits even w/ the front. Very happy I dont have to f*ck w/ them again AND I have the first set Eibach sent me that were only on the car 2 months. Selling for $100 plus shipping if anyone is interested, I'll post em tomorrow in the for sale section. ; )

My 2017 SL

My 2017 SL

Current Mods:
  1. Morimoto H11B XB 6500K HID low beam headlights.
  2. Diode Dynamics Cool White (6000K) XP80 LED Fogs.
  3. Diode Dynamics Switchback DRLS.
  4. Rohana RFX5 19x8.5 Silver wheels with 35mm offset.
  5. BC racing coil-overs-not sure of the # of inches it’s lowered but that’s how so wanted it.
  6. 35% all around window tint.
  7. Powerstop Z23 Evolution Sport Drilled and Slotted Front and Rear Brake Kit - initially had the big brake kit with Akebono calipers but went back to OE due to the subtle squeaking from the big brake setup that was driving me crazy...pun not intended. If anyone’s interested in getting them I still have then packaged.
Future Mods:
  1. Stillen rear diffuser and front lip splitter.
