I knew it would happen but had hoped to get at least 1000 miles on before it did...a nice fat rock thrown by a semi on the highway. It left a small dent and very small spot where it took off some paint. I thought I would post this for those who share my pain but I will be tackling the scratch when I get home assuming it's not raining and post results after.

That's a bummer! I hate following trucks. Had one throw up a rock and break the glass panel between the windshield and the moonroof a few years ago. Didn't know it until a week later when the sun hit the glass at just the right angle and all you could see were "stars." The panel was cracked all the way across. Didn't even know that piece was glass.

Well...it looks like I got a double dose. After inspecting the car it seems that my front bumper got kissed as well. I suppose I'll take it and get it fixed since the extent of damage is a little worse on the front.

What paint color is that? It looks chromed out

I'm really sorry to hear about that man.. It would drive me nuts. Hope you get it fixed to your liking.

Ugh. That sucks. I've had cars trashed by big rigs several times. They are a menace.
