Hid

For anyone who has installed hids. Do you have a shadow in the bottom middle?

First I installed h11b and I had the shadow. Thinking it was the bulb I got h11a but I am still getting the a line shadow in the middle.

I am wondering if the headlights have something on the top and bottom so no matter what I am getting the shadow.

Does the burner have a return wire from top of bulb to base? If so try to rotate it (might not be possible). On the YF Sonatas you have to either cut the base of the burner to allow it to be flipped 180 degrees or buy a "special" precut version.

Also before even flipping make 100% sure you have the base seated correctly and solidly in the bucket.

Thanks. That was not possible to do on these bulbs. However I got innovated hid kit and use the bulbs from that kit and ballast from morimoto. Solved the problem. There is some shadow but it's hardly visible unlike morimotos. Funny how $40 amazon kit worked A LOT better than $150 kit.
