Ebay Halo Headlights With Aftermarket HIDs?

So I wanna get these headlights - http://www.ebay.com/itm/FIT-2002-200...dJv3kg&vxp=mtr

But you can't use the stock HID's, which I don't have anymore anyway.

Can I buy this HID kit for those headlights? http://www.ebay.com/itm/55W-Slim-Xen...1f82aa&vxp=mtr

1st post FTW!

I had issues with my ground wire for the HID setup. Did not always turn on.

I ran my HID on a separate switch.

make sure you silicone up any openings or you will get condensation build up. My headlights were fairly well made and did not need much at all.

Wait, What do you mean "not the best for running HIDs"?

Bad brand or like the headlights wouldn't be good with HID's?

you godda read up on what you are doing.....you just cant put a high intensity discharging bulb in a refractor housing.

A bulb as intense as HID needs to be in a projector housing or else you're gonna be that guy who blinds everyone.

spend the extra 50 bucks and get projectors from ebay...or just dont run HID.

LMAO most aftermarket HID set ups are never aimed correctly and the overpowering blue light looks like garbage.

Whadda mean by projector housings?

You can just change out the housing in the aftermarket headlight? Or do you mean to just f the headlight?

P.S I'm not getting blue ones, illegal up here. I'm just getting 6000k.

No, but the housing was designed for HID bulbs where normal halogen housings are not. It's why idiots with HID bulbs in halogen housings blind everyone with their headlights.

If interested in some real projector headlights, hit me up. I can add LED halos too. They will outperform either of the generic ebay halo headlights and even 5.5 OEM headlights.

Link in my sig.

You don't say, eh?

Just saw those ebay housings are for halogens, not HID.
