2016 gps
I live in a rural area and every route I plan comes back with a message saying that your route goes through areas of incomplete map data. No voice guidance will be provided. The actual roads are shown on the screen, but it offers no voice guidance until I get in a populated area. I am forced to use the GPS on my cell phone if I want voice on most of my routes. HELP ! I know that Nissan must offer a high quality GPS . Do I need a new map upgrade or what ?

It's just kind of a quirk of Navteq's system. I have gotten the same message in the older parts of a 100+ year old city.
My concern is when the maps show restaurant and gas icons in the middle of cornfields??

Can you turn off navigation voice?
I like having the Navigation set when driving to/from work for the traffic updates, but I don't need the turn by turn voice prompts.
Does anyone know how to turn off the voice prompts for Navigation?

And I still remember using my guidance system on backroads when returning from a beach that was 400 miles from home. And I still remember turning down that nice smooth backroad with no traffic. And I still remember when the pavement on that backroad turned to gravel, then dirt. And I still remember the looks on the faces of those pigs when I finally came to a stop at the gate to their sty. I still remember.
