Automatic Connected Car

Has anyone used this with their new 2106 Platinum?

I like this one because it would integrate with my iWatch and my Echo.

I put the Automatic in my 2016. Works perfectly, however with my lead foot it nags (beeps) at me a lot. Have it tied into IFTTT as well, you can have ignition and proximity based triggers.

Price is good right now, I paid $99 two weeks ago!

How easy was it to install in the car? Do you have a picture? Is it something a noob can do, or do I have to hire someone?

Very user friendly and easy to install. It simply plugs into the OBDII port under the dash, takes 30 seconds. Comes with instructions.

So what's it really do for you? The car is loaded with info= almost= overload as it sits now.

1. It tracks your driving habits to try to train you to be a more efficient driver. It beeps at you if you exhibit bad behaviors (drive over a set max speed, hard acceleration and hard braking). BTW, I turned this off when I hit the bottom 2% of all users in fuel efficient driving habits

2. Using IFTTT It allows you to trigger other apps / actions based on events associated with Automatic (e.g. ignition turned on or off, ignition turned on or off within a specific GPS area, etc.). For example, when I turn off the ignition at my house, IFTTT tells my Samsung SmartThings Hub to turn on a light or unlock the front door. Another example is When the ignition is turned on, Open Google Maps... The IFTTT integration was my main reason for buying it.

3. It allows you to track trips (Route and Milage) for expense purposes.
