Disappointed with my sl

Already had to.replace my front windshield factory defect ungluing on top two ends had to replace both front and rear door panels one had a stain the other a crack on the speaker cover and my moonroof seal was coming off. Two weeks in service only had 400 miles on it. Compensation was they gave me free illuminated kick plates and the first months payment. OK I should be happy and I was I washed the car for the first time and my fog lights got really foggy if water got in to them i then touched them to dry them and found that my passanger side fog light is lose what the f#!#! I really think nissan dropped the ball on quality control, and I forgot I lose signal with my sat it comes and goes.

Sorry you are having issues. I think your dealer is doing a stand up job in what he is offering as compensation. That said, you and I both take a chance when it comes to sorting out a new model such as we have. I'm sure the foggy lights are on their radar. Sounds like a supplier issue. Keep us posted.

Do you now have a 2016? Your profile is then incorrect?

I understand that you shouldn't have these problems for a brand new/er car. But I say as long as they are willing to take care of the problem until it's fixed to your liking it should be okay.

Check out the sig pic now. Need to resize, but so many tasks at the end of the year, too many sick days, catch up days, Christmas and mods in between. The last thing on my plate was the signature. I'm a man of my word. Been in the car industry 5 years and in this forum 5 years. I love my SR. Join the FB 8gen maxima group, many more photos. Uploading them is a B**** on this page.
First thing for January is a complete lighting overhaul from Diode Dynamics. They take my car Jan 4 and will be providing the community with all the lighting needs for this car. RGBW boards for the maxima running lights anyone??

I believe you were referencing my previous set up? Red transparent vinyl overlays. Take serran wrap and trace the lense with a sharpie, laying the plastic wrap over your desired lense and tracing then cutting to size. Lay the plastic wrap over vinyl and cut to size. Soap and water mixture lightly misted on tail lense and use a credit card to remove bubbles from vinyl. Viola!
They'll be on my SR when the film comes in.

I've been saying for years Nissan is not what they once were. QC is horrible now. In the last three years I have bought 2 '13 Altimas and a '13 Maxima, all have had QC issues. The first Altima so bad the dealer bought back, the second had the same tranny problem the first did so I traded for the Max. My current Maxima also had a laundry list of QC issues (fender liner falling out front and back, misaligned gas door etc..).

I even found issues with the new Titan XD at the SEMA show. I have been a fan of Nissan going all the way back to the 510/240z, after the '03 Maxima it has been down hill. This is also the same time they brought the factories to America.
