Mine were getting condensation inside them about two months ago brought it to Nissan and they replaced on the spot because they had the part in stock(wonder why) now my drivers side mirror is starting to do the same thing so I'll be going back soon. If you're still under warranty you're good to go

this is an all around factory defect. side mirror turn signals and taillights condensate big time. I've had my drivers side mirror replaced twice under warranty. passenger side condensates as well. both taillights condensate as well. I have a 14 maxima sport.

If you search around, apparently it's a common issue. The only way to permanently fix it is to remove the LED signal strip from the mirror, open it up, and reseal it yourself with a better quality seal.
Nissan doesn't even make the LED turn signal in the mirrors, one of their suppliers does. It's also common to some of the more recent Altima models. You can find them individually online for a lot cheaper than buying a whole mirror. I can't remember the brand or part number at the moment, but again if you search it's here on the forum somewhere.
Mine get a little bit of water in it, and I've noticed that sometimes after a hard rain they strobe a little on the first use when unlocking the doors. Otherwise they still work well though. I plan to remove them and reseal them before any permanent damage gets done.
