I understand the 2016 max have hd radio. I checked who is broadcasting hd in my area and found a couple stations. When I tune to them, it seems like normal radio. How do I switch it to hd? Any ideas? Thx

 

My finding with HD was, tune thru your stations and if HD is available an 'HD' symbol is displayed. I found up to 3 versions of one station. In my case 94.1 (1), 94.1 (2) HD and 94.1 (3) HD show up when scrolling. You can save any station HD or not by holding the preset # key down for 3 seconds or so.

 

I wonder if there is some setting. I have one am and one fm that both say hd on the web in my area. I tuned them both in and both said they were hd as I was listening, but neither had an hd symbol. I can't find any way t "turn it on". I'm in Toronto if anyone knows.

 

Somewhere in the Menu settings, the is an option to turn off the HD radio feature. I did that since the HD AM was giving me a "tunnel" sound intermittently
