I'd be curious about this as well. I wonder if the center speaker by the windshield and the tweeters by the mirrors could be replaced. They seem non standard size and unique shapes. Could these be replaced without custom work?

Enter your car into crutchfield and it will show you what speakers fit. You may need an amp and processor to run the center channel so don't know if that would be worth it. When I looked last, there were options to replace. However, I got the Bose audio system.

Actually wondering about s models that don't have the center channel.

I'm thinking the mounts should be the same. There'd just be a hole there. Just tell Crutchfield that you have the Bose system and see what pops up. Only thing I don't know is if the wiring harness will be there.
For the $ invested, I think you would be better off splurging on better speakers in a 4 channel setup.

What's up guys? I wondered this as well and tried to use the speaker fit guides offered by many sites including Crutchfield. Unfortunately these are not really up to date. Crutchfield states the front door speaker is a 6.5", it is not. It's actually a 6x9" and the site offers a limited range of speakers that will fit. I'm planning on using the Pioneer TS-D6902R model in the front and rear. The doors are pretty deep and will accommodate a deep midwoofer. I'm planning on making my own bracket out of MDF as the factory mount is a cheap plastic one. If you guys are hesitant about doing this, it's as easy as tracing the factory mount on a piece of wood and cut with a jigsaw. The factory bracket raises the factory speaker about 2" and you still have about 3" depth from the metal until it hits the window. Audio fanatics can probably fit an 8" midbass here with a custom mount!! Very cool! The dash speakers should easily fit a tweeter but, of course, you may have to make your own adapter. But again this shouldn't be too hard. As for the rear, same thing. It is a 6x9" as well. I'm gonna make custom mounts for these. I hope this helps.
