interior ambient lights

for those that have the ambient lighting that runs through the dash and the front doors (don't know if all models have this or not), have you found a way to make them brighter? I tried the adjustment in the menu but it doesn't get bright at all (not at all like the pic below from Nissan). Is there some sort of DIY to make them brighter?

That picture could of had additional light provided by the photographer.

I'm sure that photo was shopped in one way or another, you could try popping the trim off and try to see whats going on in there.

Please keep us informed if you do pop off the pieces and try a mod to make them brighter.

I've seen some videos from Diode Dynamics selling replacement bulbs for the interior, license plate and such. Here's one of them:
Looks to be really simple to swap them out for brighter lights.
