SR Owners

I believe its possible if you can find someone to do it. I heard online that the SR doesn't come with the panoramic moonroof because it weakens the structural rigidity and raises the car's center of gravity.

also for weight reduction. I've never been a fan of sun/moonroof's, my last 2014 Pathfinder had it and I maybe opened it twice in the 1 1/2 I owned it, but to each their own!!

That means you get all the goodies from the platinum including the panaromic sunroof and the other options you get with the platinum. Its like buying an SR with platinum options and you get the regular 19" SR wheels with it too.
Price for this SR is at $ 37,200. If you can pay for shipping it to the US, then well and good

For what it's worth, I had a power sunroof installed in a car several years ago. It was just like the OEM units - it had the built-in shade and the usual tilt/retract features, and the installation was flawless.
At the time - admittedly more than 10 years ago - it was less than $1,000. There are, or at least were, a number of shops doing it in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Just check the internet or the yellow pages (whatever those are ).
As far as compromising structure and changing the center of gravity ... come on, these aren't race cars.

Thanks for the response.
I will research this some more. I would have bought the Platinum with 19s and the sport suspension, no doubt.
If its reasonable ($1200-1300 range) and my local shop convinces me that its not a big deal and the warranty is right I will probably go for it in the spring.
I do have some reservations about cutting a hole in the top of my $40k investment though.Lol
